It's important to note that this statement does
not delve into specific strategies or discussions regarding the path to
democracy in Venezuela.
Regrettably, misconceptions about Norwegian
culture, coupled with the barrage of media noise surrounding topics like
"dialogues, interventions, elections," often obscure the genuine
support and efforts extended by Norway. The country's demonstrated concern and
solidarity in aiding Venezuela's recovery efforts are commendable.
Economically, both nations share similarities
as significant producers of oil and aluminium, vital resources for Venezuela's
economic revitalization.
Having had the privilege of experiencing
Norwegian culture firsthand, I harbor no doubt about the goodwill and
solidarity of the Norwegian people and their government toward the Venezuelan
population.
